Aston Villa vs Man Utd – Potential 4-4-2: Falcao and Di Maria start

by Sam Peoples

News that Angel di Maria has returned to training for Manchester United means he is in contention to return this weekend for an away trip to Aston Villa, but there are others who could join him from the start.

Radamel Falcao has been patiently waiting for his opportunity. Appearances from the bench are keeping him involved in proceedings but the Colombian striker will be chomping at the bit to get his first start since October. An away trip to Villa could be the opportunity he has been waiting or.

Marcos Rojo should also come straight back into the United line-up having been left out against Liverpool as a precaution. In his absence, Jonny Evans looked very shaky.

While there has been no word on his return, could Luke Shaw make his comeback as well as fellow full-back Rafael? We think Antonio Valencia‘s form will keep in the side but when Shaw is back and ready, Louis van Gaal will show no hesitation in bringing him straight back into his starting XI.
