David De Gea is without a doubt in the best form of his career with Manchester United right now.
The goalkeeper has been in fine form recently but the United no.1 experienced a difficult start to the season, conceding four goals at MK Dons in the League Cup before another five against Leicester City.
It seemed as if everything was going past De Gea but he soon turned it around with his first of several match-winning performances against Everton in October.
De Gea saved a penalty from Leighton Baines before making several superb late saves, including a fantastic tip over the bar to deny Bryan Oviedo.
De Gea has been in fine form ever since, making several saves against Manchester City and one stand-out save from Eden Hazard in the match against Chelsea.
United are currently on a six-game winning run but it is largely down to the form of the 24-year-old. Virtuoso performances against Arsenal and Stoke secured three points in both games before he continued his heroics at home to Liverpool last weekend.
De Gea made three saves from Raheem Sterling and Mario Balotelli, including a superb tip on to the bar from the latter.
The Spanish international is hitting top form like several players at the moment and United supporters will hope his good form continues over the Christmas period.
