Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado took to Twitter to celebrate Radamel Falcao’s goal for Manchester United that salvaged a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa.
The pair are team-mates at international level and clearly have formed a close bond to force Cuadrado and indeed his wife into recognising Falcao’s contribution at United.
Falcao headed home in the second half to make sure United walked away from Villa Park with at least a point on a frustrating afternoon and Cuadrado’s tweet is sure to get the papers talking.
The winger was linked extensively with a move to Old Trafford during the summer with some journalists expressing they thought a deal would get completed, Barcelona were also supposedly in the chase.

It appears the Colombian’s wife also enjoyed Falcao’s return to the goals.

The Colombian’s name continues to be linked with a move given his ability to play anywhere on the left or right flank, a position United don’t currently have a huge list of options.
Angel Di Maria is preferred through the middle and despite Ashley Young doing a good job at the moment, United will probably want someone will more consistent quality.
Cuadrado wouldn’t come cheap given his reputation and status as a key player at Fiorentina but perhaps Falcao could have a word with his friend about the delights of Old Trafford.
