by Sam Peoples

Louis van Gaal‘s will speak to the press at 4pm GMT this afternoon ahead of Manchester United’s game against Stoke City.

Here’s the lowdown of what we expect to hear from the United boss:

– An update on Angel di Maria’ injury and how long the Argentinian winger is expected to be out for. Van Gaal confirmed the Argentinian
winger suffered a pelvic injury but at this stage there has been no confirmation on the severity of it.

– Van Gaal will also confirm whether or not the likes of Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini will return against Stoke City on New Years Day.

– Ahead of the January transfer window, some reporters may question Van Gaal on the upcoming transfer window. That being said, the Dutchman is unlikely to give any clues away.

– Reports this week suggest Martin Odegaard has been at United having a trial, so Van Gaal could be questioned on whether that is the case.

– After United continued their unbeaten run with a draw against Tottenham Hotspur, Van Gaal will also be asked further questions on United’s performance and what he is expecting going into 2015.

We’ll be bringing you all the latest news from Van Gaal’s press conference from 4pm onwards.
