Here is the latest Man United transfer news and gossip:

Radamel Falcao’s future has been the subject of much speculation over the past week, as covered by The Peoples Person. Now, Juventus plan to buy Falcao when his United loan expires, according to The Sunday Mirror. It is reported that the Italian giants do not expect United to make the Colombian striker’s transfer to Old Trafford permanent and as a result they will look to snap up Falcao once he returns to Monaco. Juventus had chased Falcao prior to the striker joining United and their interest apparently remains.

Wesley Sneijder remains a target for United as Juventus make the first move to sign the Galatasaray star. Italian outlet Tuttosport claims that Juventus have made the first move in the race to sign Dutch maestro Wesley Sneijder, reportedly a long term target of United’s. The Express report the move by Juventus will spark Louis Van Gaal in to action as he bids to add some flair and intelligence to his United squad. Sneijder reportedly came close to signing for United at one stage and he has been linked with a move to Manchester continually over the past four years. Given his age and United’s requirements for a different type of player, it would be a surprise move for the Dutchman.

United are planning a move for Morgan Schneiderlin and are set to rival Spurs and Arsenal for the Frenchman’s signature. Spurs and Arsenal have a long standing interest in Southampton’s Schneiderlin and now United are set to make it a three way battle, according to The Mirror. Southampton did well to retain the midfield linchpin amidst the summer exodus at the club, but now United will look to sign Schneiderlin as Van Gaal eyes a replacement for Michael Carrick, who turns 34 later this year.

Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair are set to be offered new contracts, according to the Daily Star. Both have enjoyed breakthrough seasons with United thanks to Van Gaal and featured against Yeovil Town yesterday. They have enjoyed purple patches of form and could be a part of United’s future if rewarded with new deals.
