Timothy Fosu-Mensah has won his first piece of silverware with Manchester United by lifting the Mercedes Benz Junior Cup yesterday.
The former Ajax academy player was an important player for United in the prestigious youth team tournament and had an important role to play in the win over Stuttgart in the final.
Fosu-Mensah joined United in the summer and has enjoyed a solid start to his career at United having made a good impression with his performances for the U18s and will be delighted to have won his first trophy.
A versatile player, Fosu-Mensah can play in defence and midfield which his performances at the MBJC showed as he was just as comfortable attacking as he was defending.
At such a young age, it would be unfair to look into Fosu-Mensah’s performances too much but there is certainly plenty to be encouraged about by his start to life in Manchester.
