Manchester United’s latest team news ahead of the game against QPR on Saturday looks very positive on the whole.
Robin van Persie’s expected absence through injury is a blow but Radamel Falcao will be ready to take up a starting role having been entirely left out from the squad to face Southampton. Angel di Maria and Luke Shaw are in contention to start away to QPR. Both players were substituted against leading to fears they could have been taken off as an injury precaution but Van Gaal confirmed neither had any problems.
As for Marcos Rojo, fans are keen to have him back in action as soon as possible. He re-joined training over a week ago now and depending on how well he has responded, could be in contention to return to the starting XI.
Rafael is another player who is expected to be available but whether or not he would play and use a protective face mask remains to be seen.
