Depay keen on PSV stay to win Dutch league

Manchester United target Memphis Depay is adamant he will stay in Holland until he wins the Eredivisie with PSV.

The 20-year-old joined the Dutch giants academy in 2006 and has made quite the name for himself worldwide after impressing under Louis van Gaal‘s guidance at the 2014 World Cup.

The winger scored two goals in three group games including an important goal in the second group game against Australia and has scored 13 goals and three assists in 18 appearances in the Eredivisie and Europa League.

Depay has watched rivals Ajax win the last four titles but PSV currently sit four points clear at the halfway point of the season.

The winger has been heavily linked with a move to United since Van Gaal took charge and like many of his Dutch team-mates it is rumoured van Gaal would like to bring him to Old Trafford.

Depay is hugely talented and would allow Van Gaal to play with two out and out wingers next season, United have largely played in a 3-5-2 or a diamond system so far this season.

Despite denials regarding leaving the Dutch giants, Depay has previously said he’d be open to leaving PSV and commented directly on links with Old Trafford.
