Pictures: Cambridge 0-0 Man Utd

by Richard Laverty

Manchester United revisited the days of Exeter City and Burton Albion as they drew 0-0 away to League Two side Cambridge United.

After going through comfortably against League One opposition in round three, Cambridge shouldn’t have been an issue, but under the lights and in a fantastic atmosphere, United struggled to break down the League Two side despite playing a diamond system.

Whilst Cambridge rarely troubled David de Gea, Cambridge goalkeeper Chris Dunn had little to do until the latter stages. One superb save thwarted Radamel Falcao before a brilliant double save in stoppage time summed things up for the visitors.

Robin van Persie also lashed a good chance over as Cambridge sat further and further back but both sides will now have to endure a replay at Old Trafford.
