Daley Blind delighted with Man Utd win over Leicester

Daley Blind was delighted with Manchester United’s performance and the atmosphere inside Old Trafford during yesterday’s dominant performance against Leicester.

Man United were in total control for the first 45 minutes and went into the half-time break deservedly 3-0 up. Although a change in tactics allowed Leicester to score and get back into the game, overall it was a very convincing win.

After recent games against the likes of Cambridge and Southampton where Man United struggled to exert any sort of authority onto the game, it was a refreshing change.

The performance of Blind was integral to Man United on the day as the Dutchman was in superb form from a deep lying midfield role.

Not only did Blind dictate Man United’s tempo going forward but he was defensively strong and also provided two assists. It was as complete a performance as any midfielder has put in for Man United this season.

Man United fans were delighted to see Blind play so well and although there were a few more expensive signings in the summer, Blind’s importance to the team was shown with that fantastic performance against Leicester.
