West Ham’s Adrian hails Man Utd duo Valdes and De Gea

by Ben Topliss

West Ham United keeper Adrian has hailed Manchester United duo David de Gea and Victor Valdes ahead of the meeting between the two sides on Sunday.

Adrian has been in fine form this season and has helped the Hammers up to eighth in the table with five clean sheets but they will need to get past the equally impressive David de Gea if they are to get back to winning ways at Upton Park this weekend.

Man United are also in the enviable position of being able to call-up former Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes, who joined in January, should De Gea be injured.

A run of one win in their last six league matches has seen West Ham overtaken in the table by the likes of Liverpool, who beat them 2-0 last weekend.

They are also in the midst of an injury crisis, with Winston Reid, James Collins, Guy Demel, Doneil Henry, Diego Poyet and Andy Carroll all sidelined.

United will know any game against West Ham is a tough one and they will have to produce a good performance in order to take home all three points.
