Marouane Fellaini in training ahead of FA Cup game against Preston

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been hard in training today ahead of the club’s FA Cup fifth round tie against Preston North End on Monday.

The Belgian did not play against Burnley on Wednesday but he has still played a big role for Man United in recent weeks.

Against Cambridge United last week, Fellaini had a hand in two goals as United sealed a comfortable 3-0 win.

The midfielder then followed that up by coming off the bench to make an impact on United’s 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Sunday as Daley Blind scored late to rescue a point for the club.

Fellaini may well come back into the side against Preston having been left out of the Burnley victory.

Louis van Gaal has said before the team needs the physicality of the 27-year-old and it will be useful against lower league opposition who will be sure to fight United tooth and nail.

Daley Blind may also not be risked for United given his injury against Burnley so fans should expect to see Fellaini next week.
