Radamel Falcao enjoying weekend in London ahead of Manchester United game against Preston

Radamel Falcao put his recent form and discussion over his future to the back of his mind as he enjoyed some precious time with his wife in London on Valentine’s Day.

Falcao has struggled recently and started to come under a certain amount of criticism from his own fans but he looked happy enough as he took to social media to show off his usual happy and smiley demeanour in London.

Stats wise, Falcao’s form when starting for United hasn’t been bad. He’s scored four goals and chipped in with more assists than he had done in several seasons with previous teams such as Monaco and Atletico Madrid.

Undoubtedly a popular figure among fans, they will be pleased to see he still looks relatively happy with life in England but his time at Old Trafford will be ticking down if his form doesn’t improve.

Falcao scored in his last Old Trafford appearance against Leicester but once again struggled up front with Robin van Persie against West Ham, leading to more talk that the pair can’t play together.

Rumours continue to suggest United are looking to lower Falcao’s £43m valuation ahead of a decision over the player’s future this summer and undoubtedly good form before May would probably seal him a permanent transfer.

With Robin van Persie a doubt for Monday’s game with Preston, Falcao should get a chance to play alongside a pacier striker in the FA Cup fifth round tie.
