Daley Blind has put pen to paper on a new sponsorship agreement with Adidas.
The Dutch midfielder was already an Adidas ambassador and his new contract is simply an extension of that deal.
Adidas are just about to become Manchester United’s kit manufacturer from the 2015/6 season so it’s no surprise to see them tying down a new contract with Blind given that he plays for the club.
Sat next to his father Danny Blind, and potentially his mother, Daley confirmed the deal with a picture on his official Twitter account.
Blind has had an excellent impact so far in his first season as a Man United player and returned from a bruised eye to be part of the starting XI against Preston on Monday, something which really helped United as he would have been hard to replace with Michael Carrick already out injured.
The Dutch midfielder has become a bit of a fans’ favourite simply because his unselfish style is geared solely towards helping the team and his really helps with the balance which Louis van Gaal craves so badly.
