Rojo, who joined Man United from Sporting Lisbon last summer, has often been paired with Jones throughout the campaign.
The duo have formed a good understanding, particularly in recent weeks, and have impressed as United continue their solid defensive record this season.
Jones said he has enjoyed playing with the Argentine and respects the way he has slotted straight into life at United.
Speaking about Rojo, Jones said: ”Since Marcos has come he’s played the right way and in the way we’ve wanted to play.
“It’s difficult to come over to a different country and a different league and go straight into the team and hit your form, but he’s done well.”
United have looked far from convincing at the back this year yet have one of the best defensive records in the Premier League.
Rojo in particular has endeared himself to fans with some increasingly confident performances. Jones has had a stop start season due to injury but is now looking like he is back to full fitness. The duo will have to be on top form again as United take on Sunderland on Saturday.
