AC Milan forward Jeremy Menez believes his international team-mate Paul Pogba is ready to leave Juventus and join Real Madrid amid increasing speculation over where his future lies.
Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has fuelled talk of a summer move for the midfielder after admitting he could leave the Italian giants if the right offer comes in.
Raiola is renowned for transferring his players around for financial gain so a move away from Juventus is not out of the question.
Menez would not be surprised to see Pogba in a Madrid shirt and says he has the quality to succeed at the Bernabeu.
Speaking about the 21-year-old, Menez said: “Pogba is a person that is very respectful, especially amongst the more experienced players.
“If he does land at Real Madrid it would not surprise me. He has what it takes to deal with a dressing room as elaborate as the Los Blancos.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Pogba, who played for the club as a youngster between 2009 and 2012.
A lack of first-team opportunities frustrated Pogba, with the man himself suggesting the final straw for him at Old Trafford was watching Rafael and Park ji Sung play in midfield ahead of him in a 2011 clash against Blackburn. Despite this, Pogba has said he still loves the club and that it has a special place in his heart.
