Radamel Falcao has dismissed any speculation linking him with a move to Juventus and insisted he is 100% focused on Manchester United.
The Colombian’s future beyond this season has been a talking point from the start of the year and with the end of the season fast approaching, a decision will soon have to be made.
Due to his indifferent form all year, there is every chance Louis van Gaal will decide not to turn his loan deal into a permanent move but Falcao is choosing to ignore all of that for the time being.
“Juventus looking for me? They talk a lot, but now I’m focused 100 per cent on Manchester United,” Falcao told Colombia’s Radio Caracol away on international duty.
Falcao might not be doing it on the pitch but he’s keeping his head down and working hard off of it which is sometimes half the battle for players who are out form, so you can’t knock him for that.
The 29-year-old also made it clear he wanted to play a part in United’s important run-in which they are currently in the middle of.
He added: “Before the end of the season there are some crucial matches and I hope that this situation will change.”
Will he stay or will he go? Nobody knows at this stage but all Falcao can do is keep working hard and the goals will come (eventually). Whether they will be too late remains to be seen.
