Manchester United fans happy to see Radamel Falcao scoring goals again

Manchester United fans haven’t been given much reason to be happy about Radamel Falcao recently but three goals in two appearances away on international duty is certainly a reason to smile.

Falcao had plenty of reason to smile as well as his penalty against Kuwait meant he became Colombia’s joint all-time highest goalscorer ever.

For a striker who was so bereft of confidence, it was an excellently taken penalty and one which no goalkeeper in the world could stop.

After so much disappointment with his performances for Man United, it was great to see Falcao scoring again and fans were certainly delighted for the 29-year-old:

The real question for Falcao is what happens next? Will Louis van Gaal bring him straight back into the starting XI to face Aston Villa this weekend or will he have to settle for a place on the bench?

With only eight games left this season, time really is of the essence for Falcao and the only way he is going to earn himself a permanent move to the club is most likely if he can have a barnstorming end to the year.
