Radamel Falcao hasn’t had too much to smile about this season but he’ll be heading back to Manchester ‘very happy’ with a big smile plastered on his face thanks to an excellent international break.
His three goals in two games which make him the joint all-time highest goalscorer ever for Colombia could be the confidence boost he’s been so desperately looking for and ahead of a crucial month of April, it does give Louis van Gaal some choice up front.
He might not have been performing on the pitch but off it Falcao has kept his head down and worked hard, so he deserves a bit of credit for that because not every player carries that same sort of attitude.
Happier players are better players, right? So now that Falcao has got a skip back in his step, he’ll be scoring hat-tricks for fun back at Man United.
Another win for Colombia and a special goal that make me very happy. Go Colombia! pic.twitter.com/x6izDs2qTH

Somebody else who was very happy yesterday was Falcao’s family who watched the Colombia game from back in England and they definitely enjoyed his goal from the penalty spot:
