Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed Juventus and Arsenal have made offers for striker Paulo Dybala.
The 21-year-old is making waves in Serie A this season and has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona and Manchester City as well as Juventus and Arsenal.
The 73-year-old revealed in his latest brief that Juventus and Arsenal have firmed up their interest in Dybala by submitting bids.
Speaking about Dybala, Zamparini said: “Juventus and Arsenal have already made offers. His agent Triulzi will be in Italy on Friday. My request is still €40 million.
“Dybala prefers to stay in Italy, but amongst the English clubs Arsenal is his first choice because of the way Wenger coaches the team.”
Arsene Wenger has famously brought through the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Jack Wilshere during his spell in London so it is no surprise to learn that Dybala is keen on a move to the Gunners.
However, Louis van Gaal has shown he also has faith in youngsters having promoted players such as Tyler Blackett, Paddy McNair and James Wilson to the first-term this season. United could do with some youth to fresh up their attack so the club would be wise to go for Dybala.
