Manchester United duo Ander Herrera and Juan Mata have continued their bromance after spending the day together ahead of the Manchester derby this weekend.

Both players are enjoying arguably the best periods of their Man United careers as the team continues it’s assault on the top four of the Premier League.

Mata scored a memorable brace in the 2-1 victory over Liverpool last month while Herrera did the same in United’s recent win against Aston Villa.

The duo enjoy a good relationship on the pitch and they continued to enjoy each other’s company off it during some downtime in Manchester:

Having risen through the ranks together in Spanish football, Mata and Herrera enjoy a solid understanding and it certainly shows in United’s play.

Picking up the ball in the middle of the pitch, Herrera barely had to look up as he set up Mata’s first goal against Liverpool with a fantastic through ball.

Mata returned the favour against Villa and provided the assist for Herrera’s second strike at Old Trafford. Their relationship has been crucial to United and it may well secure Champions League football next season.
