Watch: Rojo and Blind’s fantastic celebration vs Man City

by Sam Peoples

Marcos Rojo might not have been in the starting XI for Manchester United’s 4-2 win over City in the derby but it didn’t stop him from joining his team-mates in some celebrations.

The Argentinian was warming up on the sidelines when Chris Smalling scored and a fan in the front rows at Old Trafford caught some fantastic footage of Rojo celebrating with Daley Blind when he walked over.

It was bedlam in Old Trafford. Four goals against City in the derby? Happy days, and Rojo certainly seemed to enjoy himself. You could see how much it meant to all the players to win the derby and do it so emphatically.

Check out the fan footage of his celebration with Blind:

In terms of Rojo coming back into the starting XI, he’s got a fight on his hands thanks to the form of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.

He played against Aston Villa because Smalling was injured but was pushed back to the bench when he became available again, so it will be interesting to see who Louis van Gaal starts against Chelsea this weekend.
