Daley Blind: Manchester United can win the Premier League next year

Daley Blind believes Manchester United are more than capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

Man United are in the midst of a six-game winning streak and are playing arguably their best football under Louis van Gaal.

However, a slow start to the campaign has left a title challenge beyond reach this year.

Blind insisted United are still improving and that they can go all the way in the 2015/16 season.

When asked if United can win the title next year, Blind said: ”Manchester United is always a club that is fighting for the title so it’s an easy answer.

“You want to do better every time you play and if you see how we’ve done I think we’ve improved a lot. We’re still improving and we really are one team and that’s important. We have to keep going in this way and keep in mind that every game is a final.”

United have secured wins against the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur during the six-game winning run, which makes it doubly frustrating that they couldn’t beat the likes of Leicester City and Burnley earlier in the season.

It has taken van Gaal a number of months to make the team finally click but the results have been worth waiting for. The City and Liverpool games, in particular, produced excellent performances from the entire squad. With a few quality signings, there is no reason why United cannot challenge for domestic and European honours next term.
