Ander Herrera has been nominated for the April PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.
The 25-year-old played a vital role for Manchester United in what has been a continuation of their good form up until defeat at Chelsea ended a six game winning streak.
Herrera put in a man of the match performance against Aston Villa with two goals in the 3-1 victory and has played in every United game so far in April.
Having had to deal with a periphery role earlier this season, it shows just how far Herrera has come and how he is now a vital player for Louis van Gaal.
From a fans’ perspective, Herrera is already much loved despite the fact he hasn’t even been a United player for a year yet. The likeable Spaniard’s committed performances on the pitch and approachable persona off it has really helped him develop a strong relationship with the fans in a short space of time.
Herrera’s nomination is richly deserved for this award and fans can do their part to help him win it. Click here to vote for Herrera.
