Manchester United’s Potential 4-3-3 with Carrick vs West Brom

by Sam Peoples

Manchester United head into this weekend’s game against West Bromwich and will be very keen to get get back to winnings way in front of the Old Trafford crowd.

A bitterly disappointing defeat against Chelsea was swiftly followed up with defeat on the road to Everton and it puts Man United straight back in the bat race for the top four, so there is real pressure on the West Brom game. Depending how results go, Liverpool could get within one point of Louis van Gaal‘s side if we lose against West Brom and they win their corresponding two ties.

Although United have had lots of possession in recent weeks, they were exposed against Chelsea and Everton after Marouane Fellaini was being marked out of the game and unfortunately for van Gaal, there was no B.

Michael Carrick‘s absence is one factor who most fans believe is part of the reason why United lost their last two games and having had a couple of weeks to rest, is now the time Carrick is fit to return to the starting XI?
