Manchester United’s away fans were in fine voice at the weekend against Crystal Palace, just like they have been all season.
It was a nerve jangling game thanks to Man United’s inability to maintain control after Juan Mata‘s penalty put them in the lead and after Crystal Palace equalised with a deflected effort, they had all the momentum.
However, United managed to soak up the pressure and Marouane Fellaini took advantage of his chance when it fell to him.
After the final whistle, Louis van Gaal and the Man United players went and applauded the travelling support and rightly so as they’d been singing right from the first whistle.
When Fellaini’s goal went in, it was bedlam in the away end. A few fans ran on the pitch and there was general mayhem in the rest of the stand.
Last year, even during the worst times under David Moyes, United’s away support never faltered and that hasn’t changed this season.
Louis van Gaal‘s red and white army!
