Thanks to a series of injuries over the last few weeks, Louis van Gaal has been unable to put out a consistent starting XI.
Fresh injuries to Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw from the Crystal Palace game, balanced out with a return to fitness for Robin van Persie, Angel di Maria and potentially Marcos Rojo, United may well put a heavily changed team.
Although Van Persie is available, he simply isn’t suited to the style of football Man United are playing at the moment.
James Wilson is far more suited to the isolated role up front in a 4-3-3 formation and fresh from a strong performance for the U21s this week, now is the perfect time to give him a start:
We’ve pushed Ashley Young into left-back because although Rojo may be available, Young has played well in that position this season and pushing him back there would allow Angel di Maria to start at left wing.
Arsenal are going to control the midfield so United need to make sure they are set-up to hit fast on the counter-attack, something which this line-up does very well.
