Memphis Depay is currently at Manchester United’s training ground and is set to undergo his medical after which he can complete his move to the club.
The Dutch winger played his final game for yesterday and reports say that he has flown into Manchester and is set to have his medical today.
Excitement has been building among Man United fans since news was announced earlier this month that a deal for Depay had already been agreed despite the fact the transfer window wasn’t officially opened at the time.
Now, the only thing that stands in the way of Depay completing his move to United is a medical and seeing as he came through PSV’s game unscathed yesterday, there should be no complications for him.
Depay finished the season as top goalscorer in the Eredivisie with 22 goals and was undoubtedly one of their most influential players in a title winning campaign.
Although not too much should be expected of any youngster during his first year coming into the Premier League from a different country, Depay’s self-confidence is making it hard not to daydream a little bit about how good he could be next year.
We’ll bring you the latest news about his medical as soon as there is an update.
