Yassin Fortune and Jeff-Reine Adelaide set to join Arsenal

French teenage duo Jeff-Reine Adelaide and Yassin Fortune both look set to complete their moves to Arsenal having been pictured wearing the kit.

Both players have been linked with Manchester United over the course of this summer but it looks like Arsene Wenger is going to secure their signatures.

While there may well be some disappointment given how highly rated the French youngsters are, which has been explained in a detailed profile of the pair on Get French Football, United have already been busy themselves when it comes to strengthening the academy this year.

Belgian duo Indy and Sepp Boonen have joined, although only Indy officially, and 16-year-old goalkeeper Ilias-Moutha Sebtaoui has been signed as well.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah‘s great impact on the U18s side last season and progression through the ranks having joined from Ajax was an immediately successful academy signing by Louis van Gaal last year.

Although Adelaide and Fortune are two players who by all accounts don’t look like they’ll be joining Fosu-Mensah, Van Gaal’s scouts will be busy around Europe trying to secure other talented youngsters to bring into United’s academy.
