UPTV Transfer Daley: Nicholas Otamendi tells Valencia team-mates he wants Manchester United move

by Sam Peoples

Here’s the latest Transfer Daley update from the guys over at United Peoples TV.

First on the agenda is Valencia’s Nicholas Otamendi. Reports from the Spanish newspaper AS say Otamendi has told his team-mates that he wants to secure a move to Manchester United.

The Argentinian centre-back has a €50m release clause in his contract and Valencia have already made it abundantly clear they have no intention of letting him leave the club unless that price is met.

However, with the Copa America starting in less than two weeks, Louis van Gaal would have to move fast in order to complete the deal. Otherwise, United would have to wait until the Copa American tournament finishes on 4 July to push forward with any deal.

Elsewhere in Spain, there are suggestions that David de Gea has agreed a deal with Real Madrid, so United Peoples TV took a look into the reports.

There is also an update on Nathaniel Clyne as Liverpool have made a bid to try and lure the Southampton defender ahead of Man United.
