Manchester United youngster Saidy Janko has congratulated his team-mate Andreas Pereira for reaching the U20s World Cup final.
Pereira has starred for Brazil during their U20s World Cup campaign.
The United man has scored two penalties in shootout victories for Brazil and will be looking to top it off with a win in the final.
His talent has been easily visible at the tournament as he has made five appearances and Belgian newspaper Het Belang van Limburg even went as far to name Pereira the ‘new Messi.’
Janko, who ended last season on loan at Bolton, will be looking for a place on Man United’s tour to America. The 19-year-old impressed during his loan spell and will be trying to push for a first team spot.
Pereira, also 19, recently signed a new contract at United which ties him to the club for a further three years and he recently won the clubs U21s Player of the Year award in 2015, so will be keen for more first-team appearances next season.
Both Pereira and Janko will hope their impressive appearances last season, both at the club and on loan, will help them into Van Gaal’s thinking.
With the manager stating that he will give youth a chance on the club’s pre season tour, there is no reason either of the players can’t impress their boss.
