Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Sergio Ramos: report

Manchester United have agreed terms with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to AS in Spain.

AS say Ramos has agreed a €55 million deal for then ext five years with Man United but is well aware any agreement depends on the outcome of Madrid’s pursuit of David de Gea.

Ramos’ future has come under increased speculation in recent weeks, with the Spanish international reportedly discontent with life in Madrid and determined to complete a big-money switch to Old Trafford.

With more reports continuing to gather pace, United fans may just be starting to believe that Ramos could in fact make the switch to Manchester, even if only a little bit.

This is the second time AS have discussed a €55m deal for Ramos, so either they have information to suggest it is correct or are continuing to push in a false direction.

Despite Ramos’ age, any deal to bring the World Cup winner to Manchester would be a huge coup for Louis van Gaal.

The Spanish international’s arrival would not only be a huge boost for United’s dressing room but also go a long way in addressing their defensive vulnerabilities, something that caused United to drop so many precious points last term.
