Manchester United have confirmed Memphis Depay will be officially unveiled on Friday.

The 21-year-old has already been announced by Man United and pictured with his shirt but this will be the first time he faces the media as a United player.

He’ll join Louis van Gaal in the first press conference of the season and fans are excited to finally see him be unveiled.

It was widely expected that would happen in the first press conference during the pre-season tour but Van Gaal has decided to hold it before the team flies out to USA.

Van Gaal will no doubt be questioned about other transfers this summer including Matteo Darmian, who could potentially already have been signed by Friday.

With the squad flying out to USA next Monday, Van Gaal is also likely to confirm details about some youngsters who will fly out on the tour which is an exciting prospect.

It seems like only yesterday that United finished the season with a poor game against Hull City but with pre-season now only around the corner, it’s not long until the Premier League kicks off once again.
