Iker Casillas resolves issues with Porto ahead of transfer – report

Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas has resolved his issues with Porto ahead of a transfer to the Portuguese side, according to Cadena COPE.

Casillas is reportedly unhappy about Madrid’s pursuit of Manchester United’s David de Gea and he has indicated he would like to leave the Bernabeu.

The Spanish veteran had been negotiating with Porto over a move but various outlets reported that talks had broken down on Thursday night.

However, Casillas has ironed out his issues with the club and the transfer is now back on.

The news will come as a blow to Man United fans, who had hoped that Casillas would remain at Madrid in order to boost the chances of De Gea staying at Old Trafford.

Unfortunately, it looks like De Gea will make his switch to Madrid official after Casillas has left.

The hope for United supporters is that they can get Sergio Ramos in return, although there is a question mark over whether or not the defender really wants to leave Madrid after he was pictured hugging club president Florentino Perez.
