Bastian Schweinsteiger has already very much won Manchester United fans following his comments about the club after being officially announced as a signing.
The ex-Bayern Munich midfielder admitted Man United was the only club he’d have left Germany for and hailed the club’s tradition as a key factor in why he joined.
No United fan ever expected to see Schweinsteiger in the red of United but it’s something that will fill him with a lot of pride.
Apart from playing for Bayern Munich, joining United was always a dream for Schweinsteiger and one which he has can now fulfil.

The German officially completed his move to Man United on Monday, putting an end to months of speculation over where he would be playing his football next season.
Schweinsteiger is widely regarded to be one of the most talented midfield players of his generation so the transfer has rightly got tongues wagging at Old Trafford.
The quartet will go a long way to making United a force to be reckoned with at home and in Europe once again but it looks like the club aren’t going to stop there. Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, Valencia’s Nicolas Otamendi and Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane have all been strongly linked with moves to Old Trafford.
