Manchester United’s three new signings Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Matteo Darmian were last night officially unveiled at a press conference last night in Seattle.

It was Louis van Gaal‘s first conference of the pre-season tour and flanked by his new signings, Van Gaal was in typically honest form.

The trio were all unveiled over the pace of a manic 72 hours at the club that all started with the signing of Darmian on Saturday and ended with the announcement of Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger within the space of 15 minutes on Monday.

All three players strengthen the squad in key areas which certainly needed new faces and already the team is looking far stronger for the new season, despite the fact the transfer activity hasn’t yet finished.

All three players are in line to make their Man United debut on Friday in the first game of the pre-season tour against Mexican side Club America and fans are extremely excited to see that happen.

Schweinsteiger might be the blockbuster signing by name but all three have strengthened positions where United were weak last year, especially Darmian at right-back.

Along with Memphis Depay, United have brought in four new faces already this summer but it is widely expected that Van Gaal hasn’t completed his shopping list just yet, with a new centre-back and potentially a striker on the cards.
