Morgan Schneiderlin has stop-start game against San Jose

by Sam Peoples

Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin had an erratic performance against San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday.

Schneiderlin began the game well and seemed comfortable on the ball, dominating the midfield alongside Michael Carrick.

However, the Frenchman would have been disappointed with the part he had to play in the goal conceded in the first half.

Schneiderlin was beaten on the left hand side before the ball was squared for the Earthquakes to pull a goal back before half time. It wasn’t a position he should have been beaten in.

However, there was still plenty of reason to be positive about Schneiderlin’s performance, least not his passing ability as he showed on more than one occasion that he’s got a great range in his locker.

After a brilliant first display for the club on his debut, the 25-year-old will be hoping he can replicate performances like that more often.

Despite an different day, Schneiderlin and United fans alike will be hoping he can bounce back in time for Barcelona on Saturday.
