Adnan Januzaj delighted with goalscoring cameo against Barcelona

Adnan Januzaj has revealed his delight after he scored in Manchester United’s 3-1 win against Barcelona on Saturday.

Januzaj came off the substitute’s bench with an hour played at the Levi’s stadium and showcased the talents that have made him such a highly regarded prospect at Old Trafford.

He eventually grabbed a goal at the death with a well taken finish following good work from Jesse Lingard.

Januzaj praised his teammates after the victory and expressed how happy he was to get a goal:

Januzaj burst onto the scene under David Moyes a couple of seasons ago and expectations amongst United’s fanbase skyrocketed as a result.

However, it is important not to put too much weight on his shoulders this early in his career. Louis van Gaal will be fully aware that the Belgian will need some time to develop before he really flourishes in a United shirt.
