Potential XI: Manchester United vs Paris St Germain – Schweinsteiger starts

Manchester United head into their final game of the pre-season tour in great form with three wins under their belt so far in USA.

A 3-1 victory over was kicked off by the senior players in the first half and finished by Man United’s youngsters in the second half, with both Jesse Lingard and Adnan Januzaj getting amongst the goals.

It means United’s squad will be going into the game against Paris St Germain full of confidence but as is the case with pre-season, the priority is players’ fitness.

With that in mind, Louis van gaal has said he hopes Bastian Schweinsteiger will be fit for the PSG game and if he is going to be ready for Tottenham Hotspur on August 8, he’ll need as much game time as possible.

A possible partnership of Morgan Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger could be superb for United and fans are eager to see how they play alongside each other. A friendly against PSG would be the perfect place to see that partnership in action.
