Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has revealed that negotiations between the French club and Manchester United over the transfer of Angel di Maria are “close to the end”.
Di Maria is unsettled in Manchester following a tough debut season at Old Trafford and he has been strongly linked with a move to PSG for a number of weeks.
PSG beat Man United 2-0 in the final game of their pre-season tour of the United States of America.
Blanc refused to confirm the transfer but revealed that the two clubs are close to reaching an agreement:

Unfortunately for Di Maria, a mix of personal issues and injuries have led to a miserable time at United.
Despite this, the Argentine is still clearly a world-class player. There were hopes amongst the United faithful that he may yet stay following his comments earlier this summer but it appears he just wants out of England.
