Pedro will say his goodbyes to Barcelona fans tomorrow ahead of a move to Manchester United, according to Sport.
Louis van Gaal has asked Man United representatives to seal the deal for the attacker as quickly as possible as he wants to have the player available for the opening round of the Champions League.
The report suggests that Pedro will play in Barcelona’s game against Roma in the Joan Gamper trophy in front of fans at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night but will then immediately leave the club to join up with United.
While the two clubs are not in total agreement on the fee for the player, it is believed to be only a matter of time before the €27m that United offered originally will increase to €30m in order to grant van Gaal his wish and secure the signature of Pedro.
Luis Enrique met with the club officials and decided that the deal is a good one economically and with the player’s mind made up, it would be wise to open the door to him and let him leave.
The preliminary stages of the Champions League take place on August 18th and 19th and van Gaal will be keen to get him settled in well before then.
