Barcelona have made an offer for Celta Vigo forward Nolito as a replacement for Pedro, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Amidst heavy speculation that Pedro is on his way to Manchester United, Barcelona are already lining up his successor.

Reports in Spain claim that Pedro’s move to Man United is ‘imminent’ and the Reds look to be very close to securing the Spaniard’s services.

Pedro, who scored against United in the 2011 Champions League final, is seen as a direct replacement for Angel Di Maria, who completed his move to Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday.

Louis Van Gaal has stated he wants to bring more ‘speed and creativity’ to the squad and Pedro certainly fits the bill.

According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are resigned to losing Pedro and have already turned their attentions to Nolito, who plays for Celta Vigo.

If the Catalans do sign Nolito, it would seem just a matter of time before Pedro leaves the Nou Camp and, in all likelihood, Old Trafford will be his destination.
