Tottenham Hotspur adamant they won’t sell Harry Kane amid Manchester United interest – report

Tottenham Hotspur are adamant that they won’t let Harry Kane leave for another club during this transfer window, according to the Guardian.

Kane has been the subject of interest from Manchester United this summer after scoring an impressive 31 times during the 2014/15 campaign.

The 22-year-old was flattered by interest from Man United but insisted that his future lies with Spurs.

The North London side are determined to keep Kane at the club since the Englishman is their only current striking option. The Guardian add that chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to sign United’s Javier Hernandez if it means that Kane moves in the opposite direction.

United’s narrow victory over Spurs last weekend showed that United need to beef up their attacking options.

With Kane looking ominous on several occasions for the visitors, one couldn’t help but wonder how different United’s afternoon might’ve been if Kane was in the place of a badly misfiring Wayne Rooney.

However, shelling out £40m for somebody who enjoyed one good season in the Premier League would be a questionable move. If Kane can replicate the same blistering form this season then Louis van Gaal should seriously consider signing the youngster.
