David de Gea furious with Louis van Gaal after being forced to play with U21s – report

David de Gea‘s current situation at manchester United has descended into a bit of a muddy mess over the last 48 hours.

Now, the latest reports from The Telegraph and the Daily Mail both suggest De Gea is furious at Louis van Gaal for being forced to train with the U21s and was told he wasn’t allowed to travel with the squad to Aston Villa.

Van Gaal forced Victor Valdes to train with the U21s after falling out with him and with De Gea reportedly not happy to play for Man United’s first-team right now, it looks like the same situation could be happening with United’s No.1 right now.

What do we make of all this?

You certainly can’t accuse Van Gaal of favouritism or double standards. He treated Valdes exactly the same as the reports are now suggesting he is treating De Gea.

When he was at Barcelona, Van Gaal famously fell out with Rivaldo when he was one of the best players in the world and by the looks of it the same thing could be happening again with De Gea at United.

Right now, United are standing firm on De Gea. Unless Real Madrid come in with a world record bid then they have no intention of letting him move to Spain.

Madrid have refused to meet that valuation which is why we find ourselves in this situation right now but with only a few weeks left before the transfer window closes, an outcome will happen soon. Whether that sees De Gea stay is anybody’s guess right now.
