Chelsea are planning a late swoop for Manchester United target Pedro, according to The Telegraph.
Pedro is unhappy at Barcelona and it looks certain that he will leave the Spanish club this summer.
All signs had pointed to the Spaniard moving to Old Trafford with Ed Woodward reportedly traveling to Spain to complete a deal but it now seems that Chelsea are interested in him as well.
Chelsea were thrashed 3-0 by Manchester City last weekend and may be looking to add some impetus to their side.
Woodward has been unable to conclude a deal for Pedro so far, which has apparently opened the door for Chelsea to begin their own negotiations with Barcelona.
However, reports suggest that Pedro’s preferred destination is United and that he has already agreed personal terms with the club. United will now look to wrap up the deal as quickly as possible if Chelsea’s interest is, in fact, concrete.
