Anthony Martial signs four-year contract with Manchester United

AS Monaco striker Anthony Martial has signed a four-year contract with Manchester United.

Mohamed Bouhafsi of RMC TV is reporting the news and as he was the first person to report that the Martial bid was submitted by Man United on Sunday night, he is well sourced with this transfer and we have no reason to believe he isn’t correct with this either.

The 19-year-old is yet to be unveiled officially by either United or AS Monaco but the French Ligue have confirmed he has made the move on his profile page.

Now that the contract is signed, all that is needed is for the official announcement to be made.

It’s been a pretty quiet deadline day for United after the mayhem of Monday which saw so much activity including Adnan Januzaj leaving on loan and Anders Lindegaard on a permanent deal to West Brom.

Although there are only two hours left in the transfer window, there is no certainty that United will announce the deal before then. The only thing that needs to be done is for him to be registered by the Premier League, so as long as that is done it is up to United when they want to unveil him.
