Anthony Martial joins up with Morgan Schneiderlin for France international duty

Anthony Martial won’t be joining up with his new Manchester United team-mates until the end of the international break but he’ll already be getting to know Morgan Schneiderlin.

The duo are both away with France on international duty and they’ll no doubt be having plenty of conversations about Man United right away.

Just like David de Gea and Juan Mata helped Ander Herrera settle down at United, Schneiderlin will serve as somebody who Martial can look up to and talk to if needed.

For a youngster to have a compatriot in the foreign environment of a new country and club will make a big difference for him.

Schneiderlin should be a great mentor as well for Martial. He worked his way through the lower leagues in England having made the move from France and is only in the position he is right through his own hard work and determination, that’s something Martial can learn from.

Martial has made a huge step very early on in his career by joining United now and there’s going to be some hiccups on the way but with the support of Schneiderlin and others around him, including Louis van Gaal of course, he’ll have all the support he needs to make the most of having Old Trafford as his platform.
