Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is looking forward to the trip to face Southampton on Sunday.
The Brazilian is yet to feature for Man United this season despite shining on the club’s pre-season tour of America. The youngster was part of the squad that traveled to Eindhoven for United’s 2-1 loss to PSV but he was unable to affect the outcome of the match as he didn’t make the matchday squad.
Pereira signed a new contract at United last year amidst speculation that he could look to move elsewhere in order to get more playing time. However, he signed the new deal and was one of the standout performers during pre-season.
United have lacked attacking flair this term, something Pereira has an abundance of. It is, therefore, a wonder why Louis van Gaal is yet to use the 19-year-old.
Back and already focused on the next game!

The youngster’s pace and trickery could have been exactly what United needed during their defeats to both PSV and Swansea City, yet van Gaal has so far preferred to send on Marouane Fellaini.
Pereira is definitely one for the future and, aged only 19, he has time on his side. With United involved in four competitions and the Capital One Cup due to start next week, Pereira could finally see himself get some time on the pitch.
