Martial scored either side of half-time in what was a scintillating performance from the 19-year-old Frenchman.
Coupled with his debut goal against Liverpool earlier this month, expectations have skyrocketed for Martial.
Schneiderlin, who was equally as impressive against Southampton, lavished praise on the youngster.
“He’s like you see him in a game, very calm, very relaxed, his head is on his shoulders. He’s an amazing talent, many people would have been confused by the price tag but he came to the Premier League on his toes,” Schneiderlin said.
“He just wants to do the best, he’s a very intelligent guy, very calm, has shown great composure, great skill and great power. He will be a great player for the future of Manchester United.”
Martial has made a fantastic start to his United career and has already made himself a fans’ favourite at the club. Of course, the good times won’t last forever and he will go through a rough patch at some point but the supporters will undoubtedly be there to back him and see him through.
