Bastian Schweinsteiger had a big smile on his face during Manchester United training this week ahead of Sunderland this weekend.
The German midfielder has every reason to be happy because his Man United career is going from strength to strength.
After a slow start in which he was regaining his fitness, Schweinsteiger has now arguably become one of the most important players in Louis van Gaal‘s squad.
His commanding shift against Ipswich Town was the latest in a string of great performances from Schweinsteiger and he’s clearly enjoying himself in the red shirt of United.
I still can’t quite believe that Schweinsteiger is a United player because, even at 31, he is still a world class midfielder who can lead by example.
The season is still very young and Schweinstieger is settling into his new surrounding but if his early exploits are anything to go by, the Deutscher Fussball Meister has so much to offer to Louis van Gaal‘s side this year.
